Egg in the Hole

Ingredients

  • 1 piece of bread

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp butter

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Butter both sides of the bread.

  2. Use a circle cookie cutter to cut out the center of the bread.

  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat. and the piece of bread as well as the cut-out piece.

  4. Crack an egg into the center of the bread.

  5. Add salt and pepper.

  6. Cook and turn halfway through.

  7. Cook to the desired doneness.
