Fried egg in a piece of toast.
Egg in the Hole
Ingredients
1 piece of bread
1 egg
1 tsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Butter both sides of the bread.
Use a circle cookie cutter to cut out the center of the bread.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. and the piece of bread as well as the cut-out piece.
Crack an egg into the center of the bread.
Add salt and pepper.
Cook and turn halfway through.
Cook to the desired doneness.
