Crunchy Asian Salad

This salad is easy and delicious. It has cabbage, almonds, and chicken bathed in a sweet and sour sauce.

Crunchy Asian Salad



Pan spray

  • 2 (3 ounce) pkg chicken ramen noodles

(save flavor packets for dressing)

  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds

  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds

  • 2 pkg coleslaw salad mix

  • 2 cups diced rotisserie chicken


  • 1/3 cup oil (olive or veggie)

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 2 ramen flavor packets

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  1. Put the ramen noodles, slivered almonds, and sesame seeds on a cookie sheet. Put the pan under the broiler for a minute or two until everything is toasted.

  2. Place cabbage, chicken, and toasted ingredients in a large bowl.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients.

  4. Add dressing to salad before serving.
